Whenever I attend a talk by a prominent writer, someone always stands up during the question and answer to ask about their artistic process. It’s always interesting to hear how writers spend their day and what makes them productive.

So much of life is a haunting. We feel the tendrils of our past clinging to us as we navigate our lives. Memories exist on another plane but travel with us, influencing the way we see and experience.

One of the most common questions I get from people who want to devote more time to writing is, “How do you fit it into your day?” These people are juggling work and/or family along with volunteer commitments and a million other things.
